Jim Conway’s Big Wheel with guests Jenny Marie Lang and Art Phillips at Camelot, Marrickville

Friday, 5 July: Jim Conway’s Big Wheel with guests Jenny Marie Lang and Art Phillips at Camelot, Marrickville
Art Phillips is a phenomenal guitar player, musical director and arranger from the USA. Art has now settled in Australia and spends most of his time as a screen composer. He has graciously agreed to come out of his studio to add his magic to the Big Wheel sound. Jenny Marie Lang is perhaps the only woman in Sydney who could comfortably take Jess Green's place. Jess is taking some time off after the birth of her daughter. Jenny has a powerful and lyrical voice and a unique guitar style.  Of course Big Wheel will be featuring as usual the sublime vocals and piano playing of Don Hopkins, the immaculate double bass playing of Stan Valacos, the driving rhythm of Antero Ceschin on drums and the incomparable harmonica playing of Jim Conway. Big Wheel will be presenting songs from their acclaimed new CD called "Just So". This will definitely be a night to remember.
