This Week (Mon 10 Dec)
The launch of a new show this Thursday. A tribute to Muddy Waters the Godfather of the Chicago Blues sound. It’s on at the groovy BlueBeat in Double Bay.

Ian Collard - Harmonica and Vocals( ARIA award winner of Collard Greens and Gravy and twice Runner Up of International Blues Challenge)
Kevin Bennett -Guitar and Vocals (Golden Guitar winner and leader of The Flood)
Don Hopkins - Piano and Vocals ( 2012 2nd place winner of the International Blues Challenge)
Johnny Cass - Guitar and Vocals
Curtis Martin - Drums

This show will be at
Milton Theatre on Friday night just about sold out.

Also this Saturday I take part in the Rockin’ Carols show in Heathcote again. A huge band with 2 drummers, assembled and led by Jeff Cripps. Bring a rug for the lawn. A great family event from 6pm. See below for details.

Don will also be doing this years New Years Eve gig at his new regular haunt, The
Cosmopolitan Cafe in Double Bay. Please note that I won’t be playing there during the Christmas week. I’m usually there on Mondays and Wednesdays.

January 2013, Dr. Dons Double Dose will be playing at the Thredbo Blues Festival. Don will be doing some more Muddy Waters Tribute shows.
