Dr Don’s Double Dose had a ball at Newcastle Jazz Festival held in the Jockey Club at Broadmeadow this year. It was great to see some of you at our Friday night shows. Before the show we enjoyed another live to air performance and chat on the Newcastle ABC Local show with Carol Duncan’s Afternoons. It was great to have Andy Firth sitting in with us brilliantly on his clarinet.

The 8 piece Muddy Waters Tribute’s run of 3 shows last month were very successful. The nights at the Bridge Hotel and Brass Monkey were highlights. Thanks to Johnny Cass for putting this show together.
